On Hendricks Avenue in San Marco, there is a new bakery called Cookie Fix.
They have cookies, frozen cookie dough and cookie cakes that can be ordered ahead for parties or anything worth celebrating.
Their cookies rotate daily, so every time you’re in the store, there’s always something new to try.
I got six cookies: Chocolate Chip, Plain Jane, Game Day Blondie, Cookies & Scream, Mummy and Monster Mash Over the Top.
Each cookie was different in its own way, and that is a reason I found each one delicious.
The chocolate chip cookie was a perfect balance between sweet milk chocolate and saltiness. This was one of the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever had, as it was perfectly baked and not too rich.
The Plain Jane was not plain at all! It has oatmeal, cream cheese and a raw sugar coating. I did not know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The cream cheese flavor wasn’t overpowering; if it had too much of a cream cheese flavor then it would be like eating a cheesecake. The texture was crisp on the outside due to the sugar in the raw coating. The Game Day Blondie was a regular blondie cookie, with black and red sprinkles or blue and orange sprinkles, especially for the Florida v. Georgia football game. This cookie was basic, but still had a good white chocolate chip flavor. This cookie was my least favorite, but it was still a flavorful cookie.
Cookies & Scream, Mummy and Monster Mash Over The Top were Halloween specials. Their eye-catching designs were almost as good as they tasted. Mummy, a chocolate cookie with cream cheese frosting, was my favorite.
I felt welcomed as soon as I stepped in. The worker was very kind when helping me choose which cookies to get. Before packaging my cookies, she asked if I had any allergies, and as someone with a peanut allergy, that was really comforting as cross-contamination can happen easily. The customer service was great overall.
Overall, I was a huge fan of https://cookiefix.com/. Compared to Crumbl Cookie, right down the road, it is clear to me that Cookie Fix is the better option.
Their cookies are the perfect size so you can eat a whole one, or share with someone. You can taste the ingredients they use, and it feels homemade. Their flavors rotate weekly like Crumbl so you aren’t losing the aspect of getting to something new.
For six cookies, the total was $23, compared to six cookies at Crumbl totaling $25 before tax. At Crumbl, you will get bigger cookies but I prefer a smaller cookie that feels like it was made from home.
Cookie Fix is a must try!
