New Superman movie excels in theaters
Even Superman is Just a Man

Think of an action movie. A movie that makes you feel good and you really want the good guy to win. Think of a movie that leaves you feeling happy you saw it. The type of movie you would tell your friends to go see it and you wouldn’t mind seeing the movie again.

That movie is Superman (2025).

Clark Kent, also known as Superman, is fighting against supervillain Lex Luther, played by Nicholas Hoult. In an attempt to take over the world, Lex Luther tells everyone that Superman, played by David Corenswet, is there to take over and rule.

Superman’s dog, Krypto, plays a vital role in helping the hero. At the beginning of the movie, Krypto takes Superman back to his secret ice cave so he can heal from a battle against an unknown character. At the end of the movie, Krypto saves Superman once again, this time saving the hero from dying.

Superman also gets help from the Justice Gang: Green Lantern, Hawkgirl and Mr. Terrific. Stuck in a pocket universe, Superman’s only way to get out is through a portal that leads back to Earth. With the help of Mr.Terrific’s T-Spheres, Superman and Krypto escape the pocket universe.

Superman fights Lex Luther, ultimately saving the world, and revealing the villain’s evil plans.

Superman is an action/fantasy movie directed by James Gunn. He has also directed The Guardians of the Galaxy and Scooby Doo which are very popular movies.

The movie used a lot of CGI. The CGI added a lot to the movie in a good way. It made it look very realistic.

The movie grossed about $579 million with a $225 million budget, which is very impressive to me. Compared to the Fantastic Four and Captain America: Brave New World, the Superman movie surpassed them.

According to RottenTomatoes.com, Superman got a score of 83%.

Overall, I loved the movie. The acting is great and even though the movie is about 2 hours, it goes by fast with all the action going on. It exceeded my expectations and I would recommend the movie to everyone.

My favorite part was when Krypto saved Superman from dying to a robot Lex Luthor made near the end of the movie because it allowed Superman to get back to saving the world.

“I’m as human as anybody,” Superman said. “They’ve always been wrong about me. I love. I get scared. But that is being human. And that’s my greatest strength.”
